I am Talal. My lessons are learner-centred, interactive, and goal-oriented. I begin by identifying the learner's needs, objectives, and current level, and then structure each lesson around a clear, practical outcome.
A typical lesson follows this flow:
Warm-up & check-in – A short conversation or activity to activate prior knowledge and understand how the learner is progressing.
Learning objective – I clearly explain what we will achieve by the end of the lesson and why it is relevant to the learner.
Input & discovery – I introduce new language or concepts through real-world examples rather than relying only on traditional explanations.
Guided practice – Students practise the new skill through interactive activities, questions, discussions, and immediate feedback.
Real-world application – Learners use what they have learned in realistic situations, such as workplace conversations, presentations, meetings, or everyday communication.
Reflection & feedback – We review what was learned, identify areas for improvement, and agree on practical next steps.
I also adapt the pace, activities, and level of support during the lesson based on the learner's response. My goal is not simply to teach content, but to make students active participants in the learning process and leave each lesson feeling more confident about using the language independently.
