Experienced Mandarin Teacher with a Masters Degree Offering HSK Pronunciation Speaking and Beginner Chinese Lessons

Hello, I am Zhixin, a native Mandarin speaker with a master’s degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages. I hold a Chinese secondary school teaching certificate and a Putonghua Proficiency Certificate at Level 2 Grade A. I have more than 900 hours of Chinese teaching and learning support experience with children, teenagers, and adults.
I previously completed approximately 520 hours of Chinese teaching at a Chinese school in Madrid, where I taught heritage learners aged 6 to 15. I currently teach around 20 lessons per week at GoEast Mandarin using a communicative approach. I also teach an HSK 4 class of 10 students at India China Academy and provide beginner Mandarin lessons to four American students.
My lessons can cover beginner Mandarin, Pinyin, tones, pronunciation correction, Chinese characters, everyday conversation, grammar, reading, writing, and HSK preparation. For beginners, I provide clear and systematic instruction in pronunciation, essential vocabulary, sentence patterns, and character recognition. For intermediate learners, I use practical conversations, role plays, guided questions, and targeted exercises to improve accuracy and fluency.
I adapt each course to the learner’s age, language background, current level, and personal goals. Pronunciation support may include mouth position demonstrations, tone comparison, listening discrimination, repetition, and immediate feedback. Each lesson has clear objectives and includes suitable review activities and personalised learning notes.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive. I focus on helping students understand how Chinese works and use it confidently in real communication.
