English tutor

I am a native English speaker from Australia and an experienced university educator, researcher and qualified social worker. I have several years of teaching experience at the University of Eastern Finland, where I teach students from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

My teaching experience includes academic reading and writing, research methods, social sciences, social work and international studies. I have also taught and coordinated international university courses involving students and colleagues from Finland, Germany, France, India and Nepal.

As an English tutor, I can support learners at different levels and adapt lessons to their individual goals. My specialities include conversational English, pronunciation and confidence in speaking, academic English, essay and assignment writing, grammar and vocabulary, reading comprehension, professional and workplace English, presentations, job applications, CVs and interview preparation.
