Hello, I am Brenda, a policy student currently studying at the University of Bonn while concurrently pursuing a diploma in Social Policy and Community Justice at the University of Edinburgh. Alongside my academic journey, I have spent the past two years teaching English to South Korean students, helping them improve their conversational English, confidence, pronunciation, and everyday communication skills. My teaching style is very conversational, relaxed, and interactive because I believe people learn languages best when they actually enjoy using them. I like creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and expressing themselves naturally without fear of judgment. For me, the best classes are the ones students genuinely look forward to, not ones that feel stressful or overly rigid. I structure my lessons around each student’s goals and personality. Some students want to focus on speaking fluently and naturallywhile , others want help with grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, interviews, travel English, or improving confidence in daily conversations. I usually begin lessons with casual conversations and real-life topics to help students speak more freely, then we build from there using corrections, vocabulary expansion, pronunciation practice, and practical exercises woven naturally into the discussion. Because I have worked with learners from different backgrounds, I understand that everyone learns differently and at their own pace. My lessons are patient, engaging, and supportive, while still helping students improve consistently. I enjoy seeing students become more confident over time and start using English more naturally in their everyday lives.
