Hello, My name is Bassey, I am 22 years old and I am applying for the English tutor position. I speak English, Turkish, and Flemish fluently. I hold a bachelor’s degree, which I completed fully in English, making me very confident and comfortable using the language both academically and conversationally. My tutoring classes would be structured but flexible, depending on the student’s age, level, and goals. I would begin by assessing the student’s current English level and identifying areas that need improvement, such as speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, or vocabulary. From there, I would create engaging and goal-oriented lessons tailored to the student’s needs. I believe learning should be enjoyable, so I use a calm, patient, and humorous approach to help students feel comfortable and confident. Lessons would include interactive conversations, practical exercises, real-life examples, and homework support when needed. For younger students, I focus on making lessons fun and engaging, while for older students I emphasize structure, clarity, and progress tracking.
