My lessons are designed to be interactive, creative, and learner-centred, with a strong focus on communication, confidence building, and literacy development. I adapt each lesson according to the age group, language level, and learning needs of the students.
For younger learners, especially in kindergarten and early primary years, I use phonics, storytelling, songs, movement, games, puppetry, role play, and visual aids to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. My lessons focus on developing speaking, listening, vocabulary, pronunciation, early reading, and social communication skills through play-based and hands-on learning.
For older learners, I combine English language instruction with creative expression, critical thinking, and drama-based activities. I encourage students to participate actively through discussions, presentations, reading activities, script work, creative writing, and performance tasks. Drama techniques are often integrated to help students improve fluency, confidence, teamwork, and self-expression.
I also believe in creating an inclusive classroom where learners feel safe, respected, and motivated to participate. My teaching style encourages curiosity, creativity, and independent thinking while maintaining clear structure and learning objectives.
In addition, I incorporate multicultural content and real-world themes into my lessons to make learning meaningful and relatable for students from diverse backgrounds.
