English and Music teacher for students of all ages

I am an enthusiastic young teacher with experience teaching multiple subjects including Music,
Religious Education, Drama, Art and Entertainment Industry (an Australian practical
industry course) with a strong commitment to helping students reach their full potential.

As a graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, I have been teaching piano/guitar/vocals/flute/bass for over 9 years in private, small group and whole class scenarios. I have worked extensively with preschool and kindergarten aged students, even developing my own curriculum which I delivered at a variety of preschools and early childhood learning centres across Sydney. I have also been employed by the University of Sydney to work with final year Masters and Bachelor students as a casual lecturer in the field of Music Education.

In my work as a high school teacher I have taught Music, Drama and, Visual Arts as well as conducting and leading a number of Ensembles including Choir and Orchestra. In my last job at Mount St Joseph I also prepared students for Eisteddfods, organised cross-curricular projects for Gifted students, co-ordinated whole school concerts, music for school mass, co-ordinated whole school concerts for
over 1500 attendees (including working as technical director)

I have a proven track record of increased exam results and creating engaging and effective curricula to challenge and motivate students. I have had many students achieve the highest grade band in the Australian High School Certificate as well as taking students through the Australian Music Examination Board (AMEB) exams with excellent results. I speak fluent English, intermediate Croatian and beginner
German and can also teaching English.
