I begin every lesson with a short, fun warm‑up to help the child feel comfortable and confident. Before introducing anything new, I briefly revisit what we learned last time.
I introduce new content in small, manageable steps like Pictures, Gestures, Real objects and short examples. We practise the new language together Repetition, Sentence building, mini dialogues and Fill‑in‑the‑blank tasks. I guide them closely here so they feel supported and never overwhelmed. Depending on the child’s age and energy, activities may include Role‑plays, - Drawing and describing
Bingo, Story creation and Find something in your room that is.. Games help children use English naturally and joyfully.To reinforce the topic, I often include a small creative task:
- A mini story
- A picture description
- A simple worksheet
- A short reading or writing task (age‑appropriate)
This helps develop all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
At the end, we reflect on what they learned:
- “What new word do you remember”
- “What was your favourite part”
I give positive, encouraging feedback and, if needed, a small homework suggestion.
