Cambridge English Literature Graduate + Experienced English Teacher/Creative Writing Mentor.

I graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in English Literature. At university, I was assistant director of a student-run education charity. This included teaching a class of year 11 students English Literature, one-on-one mentoring to help migrant students find confidence in their written and spoken English, and reading comprehension with children with special educational needs. From there, I travelled to Shanghai where I taught classes of 8-12 year-olds TEFL (English as a foreign language). Missing teaching and the joy of helping others find their voice, I organised a creative-writing workshop in Berlin. I discovered I had a natural talent for editing fictive works and providing precise, encouraging feedback to storytellers.
