Berlin-based English Teacher, for children between 5 - 10 and adults

Hi! I am Sheeba. I conduct lessons by first understanding the student's level of English by asking to see any prior English work they have done and asking them simple introduction questions. I will also insist on speaking only in English so that the students can get used to hearing English being spoken and try to respond in English too. To explain new words and concepts, I will use a mix of drawings/images/sentence examples and variety of contexts that they might encounter in daily life like writing in one's diary, reading comments on a social media platform, speaking to a shopkeeper, etc. I also intend to use music, music lyrics, and shows that the student is interested in to engage further.
