Helping Students Understand Math with Confidence and Patience.

My name is Gentina Abdiji, I am 23 years old, and I come from Tetovo, North Macedonia. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Economic Policy at the University of Würzburg in Germany. Alongside my studies, I am applying as an online mathematics tutor, as mathematics has always been one of my strongest subjects and a field in which I have consistently excelled.

Throughout my academic journey, I participated in several mathematics competitions, which led to me being awarded a scholarship to study at a private college. Although I later chose a different academic path, this was never due to a lack of passion or ability in mathematics. I have always enjoyed analytical thinking and problem-solving, and mathematics remains a subject I genuinely enjoy teaching with confidence and responsibility.

I trained intensively in mathematics for four consecutive years with a private mentor who was recognized among the top mathematics teachers in North Macedonia. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked as a mathematics tutor at a local learning center, teaching children from second to fifth grade. One of my students achieved first place and gained admission to a private college, which was a very rewarding experience for me as a tutor.

As a teacher, I bring patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills, especially when working with children. I always try to make lessons engaging and understandable by adjusting my teaching methods to each student’s individual learning style and pace. I support students with homework, revision, and additional practice while helping them build confidence in their abilities.

I speak English fluently and have basic German language skills (A2 level). I am motivated, reliable, and committed to creating a supportive and productive learning environment for students. I believe my background, teaching experience, and genuine enthusiasm for mathematics would allow me to make a positive contribution to your platform.
