My teaching approach
My lessons are relaxed, practical and focused on you. I start by finding out your level, your goals (school grades, conversation, work or travel) and what you find difficult. Then I build the lessons around that. I explain things step by step in simple language, give plenty of examples, and I’m happy to repeat or explain differently until it makes sense. Mistakes are a normal part of learning, and I correct them gently so you feel confident to keep speaking.
Content
Speaking and listening, so you gain confidence in real conversations
Vocabulary and grammar, explained simply and practised with everyday examples
Reading and writing, including help with homework, texts and emails
Preparation for school tests or general English levels, depending on your goals
Lesson dynamics
Each lesson has a clear structure. We start with a short warm-up conversation, then work on the main topic with exercises and examples, and finish with a quick recap and a small task if you’d like one. I adapt the pace and topics to you, and I’m flexible with timing. Lessons can be online or in person.
My experience
I bring relevant experience. I use English at a C1 level every day, working in international teams for more than five years. I’ve mentored and onboarded junior colleagues, which taught me to explain complex things clearly and patiently. I’m also learning French myself (A2, working towards B1), so I know what it feels like to be a learner, and I use that to keep my lessons encouraging and realistic. I’m motivated, patient and looking forward to helping you reach your goals.
