Victoria Smith

I trained as a special education teacher in 2014, and have taught in private school and in a special education school for 7 years. I also got my master's degree in museum education in 2017, and have experience in creative approaches to learning. I earned my TEFL qualification in 2025, and have been teaching English to German students since February 2026. I have also been a freelance writer and editor since 2018.

I always approach my students with kindness and understanding, and I am adaptable to my students' varied needs. I love taking a creative approach to education and always encourage learning through play. I understand that students have many different ways of learning, and as I get to know my students, I am able to tailor the learning experience to best suit my students. Through my experience working in museum education, I have experience in creating opportunities for learning in engaging and exciting ways.

I am fluent in both United States and United Kingdom English and can help students learn the best way to communicate in both countries' forms of English. I am available to tutor in English speaking, and in English literature and media. I have experience teaching creative writing, reading, and English speaking.
