Hi there.

I majored in English as a second Language. I enjoy helping students become skilled and precise when speaking a new language.
My professional background includes bilingual interpretation at the British Embassy in Colombia, TOEFL teacher, English Trainer for American and British companies, Language School Instructor and for the last 4 years I have been teaching Business English and English for specific purposes.
My experience also includes effectively developing and deploying strategic processes that have helped learners and English teachers acquire a grip on this language. I have had the opportunity to lead staff trainings with the aim of maximizing productivity, efficiency, and overall performance. During the time I have been conducting lessons and spearheading English projects I have also been able to strengthen my communication skills with people around me which is something I truly love. I have the ability to convey complex information in a way which people can easily comprehend.
When it comes to my teaching approach, I really like to tailor my teaching approach to the individual students´ needs and adapt my classes to what works well for them. However, I am always open to listening to what my students would like me to do for them in class because they have their own goals and purposes for joining me in class, so I try to meet their needs and goals and I always do my very best to make my students feel like they are at home learning English in a cozy and safe environment.
