Hi there! My name is Sofie - I'm a 21 year old English tutor. When it comes to your English tutoring, I am intent on ensuring our lessons are tailored to your needs (whether that be preparation for school or a specific exam, the desire to improve overall fluency, or other!). That said, learning a new language can be frustrating and so very boring depending on the approach and context in which it is presented - it is my aim to do whatever I can to ensure your English learning journey at no point feels unmanageable or overbearing. Therefore, my approach to teaching is based on and constructed around your personal interests and preferred learning styles. Together, we can do our best to incorporate your passions into our lessons in whatever way that may be possible! As a tutor, I have prior experience tutoring music as a subject as well, and I am open to students of all ages.

Since teaching is just as much about personal connection as it is about ability, I would like to give you some insight on who I am: Outside of teaching English, I am a musician with a bachelor degree in songwriting. My passions include reading, cooking, music, traveling, and trying/learning new things! English is my mother tongue and has been my primary language for the entirety of my life, but having grown up in Colombia, Austria, and Denmark, I also speak Spanish, German, and Danish!
