My teaching is child-centred, engaging, and tailored to each child's individual needs and stage of development. I use the EYFS framework to plan meaningful, play-based learning experiences that promote children's academic, social, emotional, physical, and communication skills. I teach early literacy through systematic phonics, including letter recognition, letter sounds, blending, segmenting, and early reading and writing, alongside early numeracy, creative arts, sensory play, storytelling, music, and outdoor learning. I believe children learn best through exploration, hands-on activities, and positive interactions that build confidence and independence. I continuously observe and assess each child's progress to adapt my teaching and provide appropriate next steps. I have experience delivering both classroom-based and online lessons, using interactive resources, songs, games, movement, and visual aids to keep children actively engaged while creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment where every child feels valued and supported.
