Physics teacher I teach IB, IGCSE, A level physics and Maths

My online Physics lessons are **personalised, interactive and focused on understanding**, not simply memorising formulas. Before we begin, I will identify your current level, exam board, upcoming exams and the topics you find most challenging. I will then plan lessons around your individual needs and the relevant **IGCSE, IB or A Level Physics specification**. Each lesson will usually include: 1. Quick recap We will begin with a few questions from previous lessons to check your understanding and identify anything that needs further explanation. 2. Clear explanation of the Physics** I will explain new concepts step by step using diagrams, examples, simulations and a digital whiteboard. We will focus on understanding *why* things happen, as well as knowing the relevant equations. 3. Guided problem solving** We will work through calculations and Physics problems together. I will help you develop a systematic approach to identifying the information given, selecting the appropriate equation, rearranging formulas and presenting your working clearly. 4. Exam-style practice** We will regularly use questions based on your specific exam board. We will analyse mark schemes and practise the wording, calculations and problem-solving techniques needed to gain marks. 5. Questions and feedback** You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and explain your thinking. I will identify misconceptions and give you specific feedback on how to improve. 6. Practice between lessons** Where appropriate, I will provide targeted questions or past-paper practice to consolidate what we have covered. We can review your work in the following lesson and focus on any difficulties.
