My lesson starts with a short warm-up or a recap of the previous topic to activate prior knowledge and prepare students mentally. Then I clearly state the learning objective for the day so students know what they’re expected to learn. I explain the concept using visual aids, real-life examples, or storytelling to keep students engaged. I involve students through questioning, group discussion, or short activities to check understanding as we go. Once the concept is introduced, I guide students through a few examples, then give them independent practice. I walk around to support them individually, especially those who need extra help. Before closing, I conduct a quick formative assessment — like a quiz, Q&A, or exit ticket — to assess their understanding. I also assign homework or reinforcement work and leave room for students to ask questions. My lesson is interactive, structured, and always adjusted to the learning pace of my students. At Happy Home School, I often used creative activities like role plays or group projects, especially while running Performing Arts and IQ clubs. I also provided remedial support for weaker students after identifying their needs during lessons.
