Michael H.

Michael Haney is from the United States of America. He was born in Southern California. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Berkeley. After graduation, Michael toured and lived in much of the United States, including in states like Texas, Tennessee and Florida. Finally, Michael landed in Düsseldorf, Germany where he is closer to the European side of his family and where he has taught English for nearly two years.

Michael has taught a variety of English courses including various age groups and across most English proficiency levels. He has taught young A1 children who were learning their first words, all the way up to helping C2 business English learners progress with their learning journey. Michael enjoys seeing his learners advance their skills in meaningful ways. He enjoys creating engaging material that is designed for individual learners using real world scenarios and examples. Michael is TCA certified with ETS Global and is competent in 1-on-1 sessions, group sessions and online formats.

Being from California, Michael enjoyed the beaches where he was an avid swimmer. Now, he enjoys biking the streets and paths near and around Düsseldorf. He also doesn't mind a gifted cookie now and then!
