Learn English with a TEFL/ OET qualified, native English speaker!

Hello! My name is Yolanda. I am an OET and TEFL qualified native English speaker living in Germany. I also hold a joint undergraduate degree in English and American Literature and Drama.

I am a qualified TEFL teacher with a 140-hour teaching qualification from TEFL Org. I am always looking to develop my skills and have also completed the OET Teacher Training Award. I have been tutoring students since September 2025, to improve their general and business English skills. My lessons are tailored to focus on topics that will benefit you and your goals.

I hold a joint undergraduate degree in English and American Literature and Drama, as well as a postgraduate certificate in Mental Health Practice. I have over 4 years of experience working in the NHS as a Mental Health Practitioner. Before moving to Germany, I also worked for two years at a grammar school in the UK in Student Support. Helping EAL students encouraged me to begin my TEFL journey.

As a big bookworm, I love language and want to be able to teach others English. I am currently trying to learn German, so I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language. When I'm not learning or reading I love going on long walks with my dog and performing in plays.
