My Teaching Method: The Certified Teacher's Method
As a certified TESOL teacher and TEFL MA student, my lessons are structured to be dynamic, participatory, and results-oriented. I strive to encourage students and support their personal and academic growth.
Teaching Methods and Content
I use a learner-centered approach that prioritizes meaningful interaction and real-world application.
Communicative Language Teaching (CLT): My primary goal is to teach students to use language naturally and effectively. I often use interactive tasks such as role-playing, discussion, and dialogue to promote fluency and build confidence.
Integrated Skills: I strive to integrate reading, writing, listening, and speaking into each lesson, going beyond isolated grammar exercises. Depending on the target audience, I use authentic content that is relevant to academia, the workplace, or everyday life.
Digital Tools: I combine my digital skills using tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), Canva, Google Meet, and Zoom, which is especially important for hybrid and remote environments.
Lesson Dynamics
My classroom dynamics are shaped by strong classroom management skills and a focus on creating a supportive environment.
Collaboration: Through volunteer teaching and leadership activities with AIESEC, I have created a highly collaborative classroom environment. I encourage peer learning and group problem-solving.
Motivation and Creativity: I bring creativity and enthusiasm to my teaching and use engaging activities and diverse problems to keep students highly motivated.
Critical Thinking: I often include assignments that require students to use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to deepen their understanding of language and concepts.
Teaching experience and adaptation
I have taught my adaptation to different groups in different locations and even internationally:
Business and university students: I have experience as an English teacher in companies (distance learning) and as an English teacher for university students (hybrid learning).
Different levels: I have taught in different institutions, including universities (Horizon Bleu) and language centers (EducaNova, NTF Language Center), which has allowed me to teach effectively at different levels of proficiency.
International experience: I have also worked as an English teacher at STAR Colleges in Baku (Azerbaijan) and have demonstrated my ability to adapt to new cultural and educational conditions.
In short, my lessons are characterized by a clear structure, active communication and a professional commitment to helping each student become fluent in the language and develop academically.
