My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and goal-oriented. I hold a B.A. in English Language and Literature and have nearly three years of experience teaching ESL at Forozesh Educational Academy, where I worked with learners of different ages, levels, and learning styles. This experience helped me develop flexible methods that adapt to individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.
My lessons are structured but dynamic. Each session usually begins with a short warm-up to activate prior knowledge and build confidence. I then introduce new language through context, using real-life examples, visuals, and guided questions instead of isolated rules. I strongly apply Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) and Task-Based Learning (TBL), encouraging students to actively use English through speaking tasks, role-plays, short discussions, and problem-solving activities.
Grammar and vocabulary are taught in a practical way, always connected to communication. I focus on accuracy without interrupting fluency, providing feedback at appropriate moments. Listening and reading activities are carefully selected to match the learner’s level and interests, followed by meaningful speaking or writing tasks. I also integrate repetition and retrieval practice to support long-term retention.
In addition, I use formative assessment throughout the lesson to adjust pacing and content in real time. Homework and follow-up tasks are purposeful and manageable, often based on authentic materials such as short texts, audio clips, or everyday situations. Lesson objectives are clearly defined so students know what they are learning and why. Lesson dynamics are interactive and supportive, encouraging self-correction, reflection, and learner autonomy. My overall goal is to help students gain confidence, accuracy, and fluency so they can use English effectively in real-life, academic, or professional contexts.
