Ahmed Tag M. (b.1996) is a senior Creative Specialist, Film Director/Editor, Producer, Researcher, and Impact Producer. Holding an MA in Film Practice from the Arts University Bournemouth and a BA in Journalism and Digital Publishing from Alexandria University. Interested in socially impactful creative communication. With technical experience as a graphic designer, video editor, cinematographer, and VFX artist, intertwined with academic experience in media and film and professional experience in film production, campaign design, project management, and PR. Ahmed shapes his non-linear professional and creative career as a strategic team player with hands-on practice in managing creative teams and developing projects and campaigns from concept to high-end implementation. In his research practice, Ahmed seeks a deeper understanding of the role of independent artists and grassroots art collectives in social change and advocacy, and the alternative art production ecosystems as a core to the future of arts and cultural democratization against the centralization and capitalization of arts and culture.
