My academic journey began at Bahauddin Zakariya University, where I completed my Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (2011–2014) and pursued a Master of Science degree (2014–2017). I further advanced my studies with an M.Phil. in Chemistry, during which I focused on the functionalization of multi-walled carbon nanotubes for the removal of pharmaceutical pollutants from water. This research involved sophisticated analytical techniques such as UVVis Spectrophotometry, FTIR, and HPLC—skills that continue to shape my laboratory expertise.
Alongside my M.Phil. studies, I served as a Chemistry Teacher at Ibn-e-Seena Higher Secondary School (2014–2018). This role honed my ability to explain complex scientific concepts in an engaging and comprehensible manner, while also strengthening my classroom management and curriculum planning skills.
From 2018 to 2022, I worked as a Lab Chemist Assistant at Solex Chemicals, where I contributed to maintaining high-quality standards in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.
This role allowed me to further develop my analytical, documentation, and quality control abilities—valuable assets for a teaching environment that emphasizes both theoretical and practical learning.
In 2022, I had the privilege to work as a Guest researcher at Lund University, Sweden. There, I contributed to a research project involving the synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanocomposites for environmental applications, particularly drug removal from aqueous media. I also completed specialized research training in Confocal Laser Scanning Electron Microscopy, Small Molecules Mass Spectrometry, and Molecular Imprinting—training that has enriched my scientific perspective and teaching methodology.
Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to promoting scientific inquiry, curiosity, and critical thinking in young minds. My teaching philosophy blends theoretical knowledge with hands-on experimentation, enabling students to understand the real-world applications of chemistry.
