Cambridge-certified teacher

I am a CELTA-certified teacher with 20+ years of experience, now in the process of DELTA certification.
Originally Bulgarian, I have lived in several places in the European Union and beyond, and I have taught English to hundreds of people of various backgrounds and origins, most recently at British Council Sofia and Learnlight Holland. Before becoming a freelancer, I worked as a financial journalist, which makes financial, business and press language my special field of expertise.
In recent years, I have been devoting most of my time to writing/dramaturgy, and my second special field is the language of the arts and humanities.
I have been one of the theatre translators at British Council Sofia over the last 10+ years, and I have worked on projects for translating new works staged at the Royal Shakespeare Company and the London National Theatre.
