My teaching starts from one belief: people learn English fastest when they use it, not when they memorise rules in the abstract. So I build every lesson around speaking and writing, and bring grammar in where it's actually needed to fix a mistake the student just made.
I begin with an honest look at where someone is and what they need the language for. A pupil chasing better school grades needs something different from an adult preparing for job interviews or a student writing academic essays, and I plan around that. Each session then follows a clear rhythm: a short warm-up to get the student talking, focused work on their weakest area, and always a piece of real output, whether a spoken exchange, a written paragraph, or a short presentation, which we review together.
My own background helps here. I learned English as a second language myself and studied entirely in it through university, so I know exactly where non-native speakers get stuck and can explain those points plainly. I hold IELTS 7.5 (C1), and as a practising architect I use professional and academic English daily, so I can support business and university-level learners as easily as beginners.
I keep the atmosphere calm and patient. Mistakes are where learning happens, so I correct without making anyone feel small, and I adapt the pace and materials to the person in front of me. The goal is simple: you finish using English with more confidence than when we started.
