I am Joshua A. Mwiti, a graduate of Murang’a University of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Agriculture. My lessons are learner-centered, practical, and easy to understand, aiming to build both strong theoretical knowledge and real-life application skills. I focus on helping learners understand concepts clearly by breaking complex ideas into simple, relatable examples drawn from everyday life and agriculture practices.
My teaching methods include interactive discussions, step-by-step explanations, demonstrations, and problem-solving activities. I encourage active participation by asking questions, using case studies, and allowing learners to express their ideas freely. This helps create an engaging and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to learn and ask questions.
In Biology, I emphasize understanding biological processes, systems, and their relevance to human life, health, and the environment. In Agriculture, I focus on practical skills such as crop and livestock management, soil conservation, agribusiness concepts, and sustainable farming practices. I also integrate current agricultural challenges such as climate change, food security, and modern farming technologies into my lessons.
Although I am a recent graduate, I have gained valuable experience through academic training, fieldwork, group teaching, presentations, and community-based agricultural activities. I am patient, organized, and committed to adapting my lessons to suit different learning levels and needs. My goal is to inspire learners to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence that will help them succeed academically and practically in Biology and Agriculture.
