My name is Fernanda, and I have over 21 years of experience teaching teenagers and adults. I have built a solid career in education at a highly respected school in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I worked in teaching, academic support, and pedagogical leadership roles. For the past year, I have been living in Germany, experiencing firsthand the challenges and discoveries involved in learning a new language and adapting to a new culture. This personal experience has strengthened my empathy and understanding of students’ learning processes. Since moving to Germany, I have been helping foreigners connect with the Portuguese language. My main goal is to help students communicate confidently, understand both written and spoken language, and open the door to new cultural and personal experiences through language learning. I strongly believe in a student-centered and empathetic approach to education. I value understanding each student’s individual difficulties and creating personalized learning paths that support their development and confidence. Throughout my professional journey, I have developed teaching practices that allow me to communicate effectively, encourage active participation, and maintain an attentive and supportive relationship with my students. I use active learning methodologies to make lessons engaging, interactive, and meaningful.
