Experienced tutor, mentor, and learning support assistant with excellent relationship building and communication skills

I have over 20 years experience in tutoring, training, and education including almost 10 years working within the secondary school system in the UK. I have experience teaching EAL, Spanish, Politics and other humanities subjects taught at GCSE and A-Level in England. In addition I have also worked in politics and business. My primary approach when tutoring is to make students feel comfortable and relaxed, to try to take the stress out of learning. I seek to create an environment where they feel safe to make mistakes and to learn. I always try to engage students by incorporating their interests into lesson wherever possible. I always try to adapt as much as possible to the learning style of the student.
