Hey there,

My name is Martin Behrendt, I'm 26 years old and a native German speaker from Berlin, Germany. I graduated from the Robert-Havemann-Gymnasium in 2018 and have always had a strong interest in languages and communication.

Growing up, I had a unique advantage: my father was a German teacher, so I was introduced to the finer details of the German language from an early age. Over the years, I developed a deep understanding of German grammar, pronunciation, and regional accents, and that allows me to explain the language in a way that goes beyond what you usually find in textbooks.

I speak both German and English fluently, so I can explain even difficult topics in a simple and understandable way. Whether you're a complete beginner or already have some experience with German, I will adapt every lesson to your individual level and learning goals.

One of my biggest strengths is my patience. Everyone learns at their own pace, and I enjoy explaining topics in different ways until they make sense. My goal is to create a relaxed learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and improving your confidence with every lesson.

One thing many learners struggle with is the difference between formal German and the language people actually use in everyday life. This is one of my biggest strengths. I'll help you understand how Germans write professional emails, communicate in business situations, and at the same time how native speakers really talk with friends, colleagues, and family.
