My lessons focus on getting you speaking, not just studying grammar rules in silence. I use a conversation first approach: each session has a light structure (a topic, a vocabulary theme, or a specific skill we're working on), but most of the time is spent actually talking, so you build the muscle of thinking and responding in English in real time.
Typical lesson flow: we start with a quick warm up (how was your week, a recent opinion or story), move into the main topic (which can be something you choose, from work and career to movies, gaming, culture, or current events), and I gently correct and expand on what you say as we go rather than interrupting your flow constantly. Toward the end, we recap key vocabulary or mistakes so you leave with something concrete to remember.
I adapt the dynamic depending on what you need. If you want exam prep or business English, we can be more structured with drills and written exercises. If you want to build fluency and confidence, we lean fully into open conversation and debate style practice, where you defend an opinion or explain something you care about, which is honestly the fastest way to stop translating in your head and start thinking in English.
My background is in marketing and communication, and I'm currently finishing a Master's in Management and Strategy, so I'm used to breaking down complex ideas simply and keeping conversations engaging rather than dry. I'm trilingual (Arabic, French, English) with working Spanish, so I understand firsthand what it's like to learn a language as an adult, including the specific mental blocks German speakers often have with English (word order, filler words, hesitating before speaking). I bring that awareness into how I coach you through mistakes without making you feel corrected into silence.
