Accessible Mathematics: Activity-Based and Practice-Driven Learning (English)

I have taught Mathematics to students aged 9–16 years using an activity-based learning approach. My lessons begin with building a strong conceptual understanding before progressing to procedural fluency and abstract thinking. I place emphasis on developing problem-solving skills, ensuring students understand not just 'how' to solve problems, but the 'why' behind it. I ensure the subject is relatable by preparing learning materials, visual aids and relatable examples. I provide structured practice in an approachable environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and clarifying their doubts. Detailed feedback is given on all classwork and practice assignments, along with opportunities to discuss mistakes and strengthen understanding towards exam readiness as well. My goal is to make Mathematics more engaging, accessible, and meaningful, helping students overcome fear, build confidence in learning and applying Mathematics.
