My lessons are designed to make learning clear, engaging, and confidence-building. I believe primary-school students learn best when they understand what they are doing rather than simply memorising answers, so I focus on explaining concepts step by step and giving students plenty of opportunities to practise them independently.

At the beginning of a lesson, I like to understand what the student already knows and identify the areas where they need the most support. We can then work through school topics, homework, revision, or specific difficulties at a pace that feels comfortable for the student. I adapt my explanations and activities depending on the child’s age, level, learning style, and individual needs.

For English, lessons can include reading, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, listening, writing, comprehension, and conversation. I particularly encourage students to speak and use English actively so that they become more comfortable communicating rather than only completing written exercises. For Mathematics and other primary-school subjects, I focus on understanding the underlying concept, working through examples together, and then gradually allowing the student to solve problems independently.

I also like to keep lessons interactive rather than making them feel like another school lecture. Depending on the subject, we can use questions, examples, short activities, reading exercises, problem-solving tasks, and revision games to keep the student involved.

Most importantly, I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I am patient when a concept needs to be explained more than once, and I encourage students to think through problems instead of immediately giving them the answer.

My goal is that every lesson ends with the student understanding something they previously found difficult and feeling a little more confident than when we started.
