In my lessons, I focus on building a strong balance between the main language skills: grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing. However, I do not prefer to cover all of them in one session. Instead, I combine two main focus areas per lesson, for example grammar at the beginning followed by reading or listening activities where the new structures are applied in context. This helps students understand how English works in practice rather than just in theory.
When working with children, I like to use interactive and engaging methods such as songs, simple videos, and short clips from cartoons to make learning more natural and enjoyable. These tools and games help with memory and make it easier for students to absorb new vocabulary and sentence structures without pressure.
I also believe that homework plays an important role in learning. I give a balanced amount of exercises that reinforce what we covered in class, allowing students to repeat and practice what was learned in class for better retention.
My lessons are structured but not repetitive - I aim to incorporate interactive tasks with practical learning of using English in real life. My goal is to make English both understandable and enjoyable while helping students build long-term confidence in using the language.
