I am a native English speaker who grew up in London, and I have been through the British school system from the very beginning all the way up to GCSE level, which is equivalent to 11th grade. During my time in education, English was a subject I had an unmatched passion for. It was something that instantly clicked for me, and my passion for the subject continued to grow as I got older.

I have also had multiple creative writing pieces published in the United Kingdom, making writing one of my specialities. As a result of my broad general knowledge, I am also able to hold conversations on a wide range of topics. This can be extremely beneficial for you, as it gives you a platform to speak about topics you are passionate about, helping to improve both your engagement and confidence when speaking the language. This is a crucial skill to develop and refine.

In terms of experience, I have worked in teaching assistant roles in both the United Kingdom and Germany, helping students progress from having very little understanding of the language to developing a much stronger understanding and confidence in using it.

Furthermore, my teaching style is something I can easily adapt once I understand the student's level and goals. I aim to ensure that you feel comfortable during lessons while also making learning English enjoyable and engaging. I also believe that patience is one of my strengths as a tutor. I am more than happy to take lessons at a slower pace when necessary, ensuring that each student has a strong understanding of the topics we cover before moving forward.
