My teaching is student-centered and interactive, focusing on communication and practical language use. During my six months of teaching in China, I worked with learners of different levels and backgrounds, which helped me adapt my methods to suit varied needs and cultural contexts. I draw on my CELTA training to structure lessons with clear aims, incorporate guided practice, and provide constructive feedback. I use a mix of pair and group activities, task-based learning, and authentic materials to keep lessons engaging and relevant. In the classroom, I encourage participation, collaboration, and a supportive atmosphere where students feel confident to experiment with language and learn from each other.
