My approach to teaching English emphasizes a student-centered, supportive, and practical methodology. As a native English speaker and a current Master’s student in Medical Biotechnology, I incorporate clear communication and analytical thinking into my lessons. Although I am new to formal tutoring, I have experience mentoring classmates, volunteering with children’s educational activities, and supporting peers as a study group leader. These experiences have helped me develop patience, active listening skills, and the ability to explain concepts clearly. I am committed to creating an encouraging environment where young people feel comfortable learning and making mistakes.
I employ a learning-by-doing approach, enabling students to actively practice English through speaking, listening, reading, and basic writing tasks. Instead of emphasizing grammar rules, I prioritize authentic communication, guiding students to understand how English is used in real-world contexts. To ensure parents are informed and engaged, I will provide regular updates on each child's progress, including brief feedback after lessons and occasional summaries highlighting their achievements and areas for growth.
My lessons are interactive, flexible, and adapted to each child’s level and personality:
Warm-up (5–10 minutes)- casual conversation, simple questions, or a fun game to help the student relax and start thinking in English.
Core Activity (15–25 minutes)- focused learning through activities such as:
Vocabulary building with visuals or themes (e.g., animals, school, hobbies). Reading short texts together, practicing speaking through role-play or guided conversation
Practice & Reinforcement (10–15 minutes)- games, repetition exercises, or short tasks to reinforce what was learned in a fun way.
Wrap-up (5 minutes)- quick review and positive feedback, highlighting progress and building confidence.
