I am an English teacher with over 8 years of teaching experience, and I create lessons that are interactive and personalised to suit student’s needs.
I use the PPP teaching method (Presentation, Practice, and Production) to structure my lessons. First, I introduce new language through a presentation stage, which could include a PowerPoint presentation, a listening activity, a reading prompt, or another engaging input activity. This helps students understand new vocabulary, grammar, or language functions in context.
Next, we move into the practice stage, where students build confidence by using the new language through different activities such as exercises, guided conversations, sentence-building activities, quizzes, and interactive tasks.
Finally, we move into the production stage, where students get the opportunity to use what they have learned in a more natural way. They might use the grammar or language function in a real-life situation, conversation, or activity where they can express themselves more freely.
I believe learning English should be enjoyable and practical, so I make my lessons highly interactive by using technology, games, and creative activities to keep students engaged. My goal is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident, motivated, and excited to improve their English.
