Every lesson starts with where you are, not where a textbook assumes you should be. In the first session we identify your specific gaps — whether that's confidence in spoken English, precision in written communication, vocabulary for a particular context, or exam technique — and that shapes everything that follows.

For speaking and conversation, I use real scenarios rather than scripted exercises. We might work through a job interview you have coming up, practice presenting an idea to a skeptical audience, or simply have a structured discussion on a topic you care about. I give immediate, specific feedback — not just "good" but "that phrasing sounds unnatural, here's why, here's the alternative." You leave with corrections you actually remember because they came from your own language, not someone else's example sentences.

For writing — academic papers, emails, cover letters, reports — I work through your actual documents with you rather than generic exercises. Seeing your own writing improved in real time is more effective than any textbook exercise.

I bring a Finance and Business Administration background, which means I am particularly well placed to help with business English, professional communication, financial vocabulary, and academic writing in economics and management subjects. I am a native-level English speaker who has lived and studied internationally, so I understand the specific challenges non-native speakers face because I have navigated multilingual environments myself.

Lessons are one hour, online or in person in Berlin, and I prepare specifically for each session rather than arriving with a generic plan. The pace is yours — I move as fast or as carefully as you need.
