English made easy! : Professional English Teacher for All Ages (6–60+).

Hi everyone! my name is Yocelin Barria and I teach English to all ages. With a Bachelor degree in English teaching to Primary and High School and a Master degree in English Language and Linguistics, I bring both academic expertise and practical experience to my teaching. During my whole experience as an English teacher, I have studied and applied different methodologies to teach the language, which has led me to go for a more holistic approach, which means the inclusion of different methods such as the communicative language teaching approach, the direct and audio-lingual method, apart from a task-based language teaching approach, among others. Therefore, I prefer methodologies which focus on encouraging the learner to actively engage in using the language in authentic contexts. I also focus on having fun while teaching and being dynamic.
