My journey in education and child development is rooted in a genuine passion for supporting individuals who thrive in environments defined by patience, structure, and emotional safety. Holding a Cambridge CELTA certification alongside my ongoing Diploma of Higher Education in Psychology.
I bring a unique blend of formal pedagogical training and a deep, scientific understanding of cognitive development and neurodiversity.
Over the past three decades of my professional life, specifically through intense, hands-on intervention work spanning more than 55 schools and nurseries, as well as 10 months of private nannying in family households, have cultivated an extensive capacity to adapt to diverse learning needs. Whether managing sensory overloads, providing 1:1 academic support, or assisting young learners through their daily routines from nursery up to Year 6, my approach is consistently anchored in empathy and respect for each child's unique pace.
My psychology background equips me to recognize and respond effectively to behavioral patterns, anxiety, and learning barriers, allowing me to transform overwhelming academic moments into manageable, empowering experiences.
I believe that true learning cannot happen under pressure or in a harsh, transactional space; it flourishes when a child feels genuinely seen, valued, and psychologically secure. By combining rigorous language teaching methodologies with trauma-informed, gentle care practices, I strive to build autonomous, confident learners who are free to explore their potential without fear of judgment. Whether working within structured academic settings or guiding students individually, my commitment remains steadfast: to provide a calm harbor where education is a nurturing, joyful, and deeply human journey.
