Hello! My name is Derek, and I look forward to helping you improve your English in a friendly, supportive, and relaxed learning environment. I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Networks and Security from the University of Maryland Global Campus, graduating Magna Cum Laude, and many years of professional experience in the U.S. Army and federal government, where clear communication, patience, and teamwork were essential. As a tutor, I want to help you build confidence in speaking, improve your pronunciation and vocabulary, strengthen your grammar, and practice everyday English through natural conversation. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills, we will work at your pace, focus on your personal goals, and make learning English practical, enjoyable, and rewarding!
