Sylvia Emeka-Edwin

I'm Sylvia, With over 10 years of teaching experience, I specialize in early years and adult English education, both in-person and online. My teaching method is learner-centered, interactive, and supportive. I believe students learn best when they feel confident and engaged, so I use a variety of tools, songs, stories, visuals, games, role-play, and real-life scenarios, to suit each student’s age, goals, and learning style.

For young learners, I focus on building strong foundations in phonics, vocabulary, and speaking skills, making lessons fun and developmentally appropriate. For adults, I emphasize practical communication, including reading, writing, grammar, and conversation practice, helping learners gain confidence in real-world English.

I am experienced with Zoom, Google Classroom, interactive whiteboards, and educational SaaS tools, and I consistently adapt my lessons to each student's pace and progress. My goal is to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student feels motivated and supported.
