I hold a Master's degree in Educational Sciences, graduated with distinction from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and a Primary Education Teaching Degree. I have over six years of international teaching experience in Spain, Belgium, Finland, and the UK, both in formal and non-formal settings. I hold a Level 5 (168-hour) TEFL Certificate from The TEFL Academy (UK).
Currently, I work as an English teacher and course developer at UK Academy in Madrid, where I teach General and Business English to children and adults (levels A1–C1), and I have designed a Study Skills course to improve learning strategies. Previously, I worked as a primary English teacher at Greenfield School and as a freelance educational mentor and counsellor, supporting students on topics such as well-being, academic guidance, and bullying prevention.
In parallel, I’ve contributed to EU-funded educational projects through roles at the European Association for the Education of Adults and European Schoolnet. There, I gained experience in curriculum innovation, inclusion, digital tools for learning, and education policy. These roles strengthened my skills in project coordination, stakeholder communication, and intercultural teamwork.
My teaching style is student-centered, inclusive, and dynamic. I aim to foster confidence, curiosity, and autonomy through engaging lessons based on real-life communication. I have experience working with students from a variety of cultural and educational backgrounds, including those with learning difficulties or facing social challenges.
I bring empathy, adaptability, and a strong commitment to lifelong learning. I see language education as a powerful tool for empowerment, connection, and opportunity.
