I'm Sheryll, a Licensed Professional Teacher and Registered Psychometrician with over 15 years of teaching and tutoring experience.
I specialize in English as a Second Language, and I understand that learning English isn’t just about grammar or vocabulary — it’s also about overcoming the fear of speaking. This fear has a name: Foreign Language Anxiety (FLA). Many learners worry about forgetting their words during a presentation, being judged for their accent, or feeling awkward in casual conversations.
With my background in psychology and child development, I help students manage these anxieties by creating a safe, supportive environment. Together, we practice strategies to slow down for clarity, build confidence in Q&A sessions, and reframe mistakes as natural steps in learning. My approach emphasizes patience, encouragement, and practical skill-building, ensuring that learners feel motivated and supported throughout their journey.
We not only build and practice your conversational English, but I also offer specialized lessons in Psychology. Drawing on my experience in HR recruitment, I can help you develop the English skills and confidence you need for job interviews, presentations, professional networking, and workplace communication.
