With over five years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Education (Intermediate Phase) degree, graduated Cum Laude, I strive to create engaging, learner-centred lessons that are tailored to each student's individual goals, learning style and proficiency level. I have taught children, teenagers and adults from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, helping them develop confidence and fluency in English through interactive and supportive lessons.

My teaching experience includes General English, Business English, conversational English and IELTS preparation, as well as classroom teaching in English Home Language, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Natural Sciences and Technology. This broad experience has enabled me to adapt my teaching methods to suit learners of different ages, abilities and learning needs.

Every lesson is carefully planned to ensure steady progress while maintaining an enjoyable learning environment. I typically begin by introducing new language through meaningful contexts and practical examples and connecting them to pre-established ideas. Lessons include a balance of speaking, listening, reading and writing activities, supported by grammar and vocabulary development where appropriate. I use guided practice, interactive discussions, real-life scenarios and constructive feedback to encourage active participation and build confidence.
