I have been teaching English for the past 5 years, working with students from different English and Nepali medium schools and tuition centres in Nepal. This experience has helped me understand that every student learns differently, so I try to make my lessons clear, flexible, and engaging.
My private lessons focus on English grammar, but I believe grammar is best learned by understanding and using it rather than simply memorising rules. I encourage students to ask questions, share their ideas, and actively participate throughout the lesson. I try to make the classroom as interactive as possible so that learning feels natural and enjoyable.
Each lesson generally includes:
- Clear and simple explanations of grammar concepts and rules
- Interactive discussions, questions, and examples
- In-class exercises to practise what we learn
- Correction and constructive feedback
- Real-life examples to understand how grammar is used
- Recommendations for English movies, videos, or other useful content
- A simple to-do list or practice activity for learning at home
I also encourage students to notice and learn English outside the classroom. Through regular practice and exposure to English, we can gradually improve grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and overall confidence.
My goal is simple: to make English grammar easier to understand, more interesting to learn, and practical to use.
