Since I’m new to formal tutoring, I’ll be upfront: my teaching style is based on how I naturally explain and mentor at work, not a certified method — and I think that’s a strength, since lessons feel like a real conversation, not a rigid script.

A typical lesson starts with a few minutes of casual conversation in English, just to see where you’re at that day. From there, we focus on what you actually need: for conversation practice, we talk through real situations — ordering food, a work email, a job interview — rather than abstract textbook dialogues. For grammar or vocabulary, I break it into small, clear pieces with simple examples, then immediately practice it in a real sentence.

I like mixing reading, writing, and speaking rather than following one fixed format, depending on what keeps you engaged. Mistakes are a normal part of learning, not something to be anxious about — I correct gently as we go rather than interrupting your flow, and circle back to patterns I notice so they’re reinforced naturally.

Lesson pace is set by you: if something clicks quickly, we move on; if it needs more time, we stay there without rushing. I keep track of what we’ve covered so each lesson builds on the last.

I don’t have formal classroom experience, but I do mentor and train colleagues regularly at work — breaking down unfamiliar topics clearly and staying patient when something takes a few tries. That’s the energy I bring to tutoring.
