As a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English student, I have gained teaching experience through my teaching internship and practice teaching, where I worked with junior high school learners, particularly Grade 7 students.
My lessons focus on helping students improve their English skills, including reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, writing, speaking, and understanding different literary texts. I use student-centered teaching methods, interactive activities, guided discussions, examples, and real-life situations to make lessons easier to understand and more engaging.
I believe that every student has a different learning pace, so I try to adjust my teaching strategies based on their needs and abilities. I encourage students to ask questions, express their ideas, and participate actively in class. I also provide clear instructions, positive feedback, and guidance to help them build confidence in using English.
My teaching style is friendly, patient, and supportive. I want my students to feel comfortable making mistakes because I believe mistakes are part of learning. My goal is not only to help students improve their English skills but also to develop their confidence, critical thinking, and love for learning.
Although I am still growing as a teacher, I am eager to learn, improve my teaching skills, and create meaningful learning experiences for every student. I look forward to helping learners achieve their academic goals in a positive and encouraging environment.
