My teaching approach is student-centred, communicative, and tailored to each learner’s linguistic background and goals. With a BA in English Studies and an MA in Sociolinguistics and Multilingualism, I combine strong theoretical knowledge with practical classroom experience. Over the past two years, I have worked as an English tutor teaching adults whose first language is French or Arabic, as well as advanced English to native English speakers.

My lessons focus on developing communicative competence while maintaining accuracy in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I design lessons around real-life contexts and authentic materials to ensure that learners can confidently use English in professional, academic, and everyday situations. For non-native speakers, I pay particular attention to cross-linguistic influence and common challenges related to their first language. For native speakers studying advanced English, I emphasise academic writing, stylistic precision, critical reading, and discourse analysis.

Teaching dynamics in my classes are interactive and discussion-based. I encourage active participation, critical thinking, and learner autonomy. Lessons typically include structured input, guided practice, and communicative tasks that promote meaningful language use. I also integrate feedback sessions that are constructive and personalised, helping students identify both strengths and areas for improvement.
